FERIA DEL DULCE CRISTALIZADO

OBJETIVO:
Que todo el mundo conozca los dulces

tradicionales de México .

Xochimilco, una joya creada por las manos del hombre desde la época prehispánica, reúne en sus largos canales o los 18 barrios chinamperos en cuyas cementeras se a sembrado siempre maíz, calabaza, chile y numerosas flor de ornato.

Uno de estos pueblos es Santa Cruz Acalpixca, de origen prehispánico cuyo significado en lengua náhuatl es “cuidador de canoas”, se localiza al sureste del centro de Xochimilco. Sus habitantes se dedicaban a la elaboración de escobas de cambray y a la recolección de hongos que posteriormente vendían en los mercados.

Actualmente en este pueblo se encuentran los mejores artesanos de dulce cristalizado, que desde hace mas de 100 años an preservado la singular tradición de dar colorido y sabor a los exquisitos dulces, desde las tradicionales cocadas, palanquetas de cacahuete, dulce de calabaza, nuez con chocolate, asta los mas sotisficados jitomates, papas y chiles rellenos, entre otros.

A raíz de esta actividad surgió también la costumbre de organizar la feria del dulce cristalizado que celebra desde hace 21 años, con el propósito de dar a conocer el producto y quienes lo elaboran, para impulsar la comercialización del dulce, que se elabora mediante una técnica trasmitida de generación en generación. Este viernes 20 de junio iniciara la décimo novena feria del dulce cristalizado Santa Cruz Acalpixca , población donde se es feliz.

GLOSARIO:

Náhuatl: Dialecto nahua hablado en México en el momento de la conquista Española, cuya variante mas conocida es el azteca clásico .
Chinampas: Terreno flotante en el que se cultiva verduras y flores.
Flores de ornato: Adorno, aquello que sirve para adornar una cosa, en este caso las Chinampas.
Prehispanicas: Historia de las sociedades humanas desde el precolombino.
Canoas: Embarcación liguera, sin puente, propulsada a remo, pala, vela o motor.
Comercializacion: Que comercia, persona o entidad que ejerce el comercio.
Arqueología: Ciencia que, por medio del analicis de los vestigios de los seres humanos.
Palanqueta: Dulce en forma de barra o disco hecho con cacahuate o pepitas de calabaza mezclados con miel de azucar.
Cristalizacion: Accion y efecto de cristalizar.
Chinampero: Dicese del cultivador de chinampas.

Wendolyn : A mi me parecio muy interesante conocer nuevas costumbres de nuestro pais y tener información de Internet.

Diana: Yo pienso que es muy interesante por dar a conocer a los demas sobre las culturas mexicanas.

FAIR OF THE CRYSTALLIZED CANDY OBJECTIVE: That everybody knows candies traditional Mexico. As a result of this activity the custom also arose to organize the fair of the crystallized candy that has been celebrating for 21 years, in order to present the product and that elaborate it, to impel the commercialization of the candy, that is elaborated by means of a trasmitida technique of generation in generation.
